The Tapestry of Love
Rosy Thornton launched her fourth novel last week at Heffers in Cambridge – The Tapestry of Love. Though most of her books are set in East Anglia the events of this novel take place in the Cevennes, a remote and spectacular part of SE France. Full as always in Rosy’s books with interesting and articulate women – and at least one equally interesting Frenchman – the story moves seductively through the seasons to the accompaniment of some sensuously beautiful pastoral writing.
