Steve Shipside. As a freelance journalist Steve Shipside has written about business and technology since 1990 for magazines and newspapers including Wired, The Guardian and The Daily Telegraph. A graduate of Trinity College Cambridge, he is the author of a dozen or so books on business, travel, and adventure for publishers such as Capstone, John Wiley, and Infinite Ideas. An unhealthy fascination with the deep led him to start scuba diving as a schoolboy in the '70s. He continues to work as a dive professional and his eyes still light up at the words 'pieces of eight'.
